A talented football analyst in the country, Alex Alex Kashasha, passed away today at 9pm at Kairuki Hospital in Dar es Salaam.
Kashasha had been hospitalized for the past two weeks until his death.
Confirming the death, Silla Jackson, who identified herself as a family friend, said the news of Kashasha’s death was true and that they now hoped to hold a family meeting.
He said the deceased had died of a kidney problem which led to his being hospitalized there and now they were planning funeral arrangements.
“I am a friend of the family and he cannot talk on the phone but if the family is the one we are planning from here in the hospital to go home then we will know what will happen,” said the brother.
Prior to his death, he was working with the Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) and was also an analyst for Mwanaspoti newspaper on Saturday.
Alex Alex Kashasha was an excellent analyst and many profited with the help of his analysis and online betting.
